Important

Companies should soon register the nanomaterials they would like to place on the Belgian market. The registry is mandatory from January 1, 2016 for substances produced in nanoparticulate state (such as titanium dioxide, zinc oxide), and from January 1, 2017 for mixtures of these substances (eg. paints, sunscreen).
