Choose the appropriate national procedure based on the product type to which your biocide belongs (see attachment). There is a transitional procedure for registration in Belgium for a total of 22 product types (check the following document about it in Dutch or French).

Sometimes it is not always clear under which legislation a product applies. Regarding these borderlines, four separate guidelines have been developed:
